Art in public

Sculptor Andrew Sabin is presenting new work in an exhibition now showing at Canary Wharf’s Jubilee Park. Previous public realm projects include being lead artist on the Sustrans’ Wandle Trail in Surrey and commissioned artist in Canterbury City Council’s Horsebridge and Brownings Yard development in Whitstable.

The ‘Over Under’ exhibition features pieces made by Sabin in response to the artifice of Jubilee Park and to its natural qualities. By focusing on the fake geology of the park, he has made works that combine riotous organic growth with horticultural orderliness.

Other works on show include Verkehrtes by one of Austria’s most celebrated artists Franz West, and Keith Wilson’s brilliantly coloured pieces that focus on the park as a place for monuments.
