Visual art exhibitions and events with a platform for critical writing

'You May Well Wonder'
I am artist in Residence, working for 12 weeks to produce work that reflects the county of Flint, and that also delves into the tradition of the Eisteddofd. I plan to use installation, performance, scultpture and film to do this, and will be working collaboratively with the community to create some of the work.
The residency will culminate with an exhibtion in the Eisteddfod, in Mold August 2007.
I am a multi discipline artist, working mainly with installation, performance and painting. I am based in North Wales and create work which often has a large dose of humour, and surreal characters. The main reason for making work is to understand identity, of myself, british people, my country, people of the other countries, and that of objects, landscapes and objects...it's pretty broad! My next project is to be artist in residence for the Nation Eisteddfod of Wales in Flint.
