we are working together on ways to organise the postcard project as an exhibition. thinking about all the artwork, what size and in what format to do it, how many pieces to include, how best to display the different formats of the separate postcards and how to describe what we made and how it came about. we're collecting together each of our own records of the different stages of the postcards as they travelled between us.

The ideas that kept coming were about love, protection, nurturing, and i thought of my family, myself and what had happened to each of our outlooks on the world. From the Festival of Britain through Protect and Survive to the Revenge of Gaia.... p

after a long wait, a beautiful envelope arrived. i've attached images of what i saw as i unwrapped the package....i'm trying to think of a peaceful 'enveloping' (!) image to match the lovely vibe....px

This project is really interesting. We have all made a contribution and the time-based aspect is interesting. So much has happened to us all since we started the project in October. It will be good to show the work as a completed collaborative project in Shrewsbury. I wonder if any other galleries will be interested in showing it?
