Visual art exhibitions and events with a platform for critical writing

Sometimes we live a whole life without paying attention to some interesting details around us. We look at trees and suddenly see them bare or suddenly realise that we have arrived to the spring time.

# 1 [14 January 2008]
Photographing the view from my bedroom's window for 49 days at 11 am helped me to experience the changeable atmosphere and scene that I see everyday but never paid attention to its details. The tree leaves, the weather, laundry lines, etc. Everything constituted an interest point to watch and explore in the scene after being photographed.
A series of 49 photos of the same sight was created. At first glance, you get a kind of feeling that you are seeing the same scene but once you get into the details you will clearly notice the big differences involved in each image. It is only until you have moved through the whole series that you will note the substantial difference between day1 and day49.
