Visual art exhibitions and events with a platform for critical writing

I've recently started a new project ready for an exhibition at The Kings Hill Gallery, Kent.
It's based on obesity and the way fat skin folds. I always update my website with images of developing projects and was surprised when my dad suggested my work looked like a sex aid and did i want to consider not having that photo on website. Dads may never understand :(
I'm an emerging applied artist, recent UCCA graduate. I've had four exhibitions since leaving and a few sales. I'm gradually building my network and challenging my favorite medium clay from my recently set up studio/shed. :)
I look into discarded objects and rejected walls and surfaces as my inspiration. Texture is a massive thing for me so i never stop taking photos of interesting surfaces from skin to bark to a fly poster wall.
