Visual art exhibitions and events with a platform for critical writing

and i am currently undertaking a project about suicide, referencing and dark humour. i'm playing with what the viewer will/will not look at. i'm also focusing on issues of respect.
and i suppose you could say i'm an upstanding citizen. and i love nothing more than art, but most of my knowledge is a secret. i have recently over come some of my dyslexic fears about writing. and now i have discovered i can write however i want, i have fallen in lust with it. my favourite words are irregular, empty, geese, machiavellian and krishnan-guru-murphy.

and so the first half of the project is compleat, i cast a life size sculpture of mark rothko after he committed suicide. which was a huge success. but the second half of the project is going to prove much more tricky. and i can see time slowly turning its back on me. eek.
and for the second half of the project i am going to cast myself, out of wax, just as i did for the sculpture of mark rothko. and the sculpture of myself will be far more difficult to cast and carve due to the open mouth, insersion of teeth and the positions of the hands.
i only seem to have two settings, extreamly laid back or prefusely stressed, and i think today is one of those laid back days. seeing as i havent done anything off my to do list. today is a day of distractions. oh dear...
