# 3 [5 April 2008]

Trader joes, around the block and relaxing a million miles away from home, but i feel another kind of home here. Like there is so much more still for me to find in life. I just have to go with it and feel my way. This recooperation is just what i needed. Its been so long since i wanted to paint. I feel its romance i want to move with the brush and make beauty again. All my other work, works. By painting i can do from my heart i need to use white, i need to sketch before i go. Sketch book and pencils.. hopefully get those today. He is beautiful i need to record the way it is. This wont be the last time im here hopefully. Im bringing my work here next time. My painting.

# 2 [4 April 2008]

I wouldn't have guessed i'd be eating my breakfast in an apartment in washington, this time last week.Travelling 4000 miles isnt something i do all that often! In fact its only my second time out of the Uk, second time in the USA. I dont know what the plans for the day are. Have just been catching up on my sleep from yesterday...yesterday was a looong day.And he is so wonderful. Its cold and rainy outside today, but i have been feeling so inspired already. I think i will have to make a painting when i get back. It feels a good time to start painting again...its been an awful long while. While here though i intend to write and make sketches drawings photos and collect bits and pieces and see what i have at the end of it. I have some idea to the work that i will be producing for the show in a couple of weeks time. I think this time out is exactly what i needed. Rest for the mind and excitement for the soul.

12 days ago i was taking one of my usual strolls around london. I happened upon a person. This person joined me on my walk through the city.When we parted, I kept walking and 12 days later i ended up in America....
