MA Contemporary Fine Art, Caldewgate Campus, Carlisle - A singularly fine and unique experience in a world brought up to revere mediocrity.

So that said, about the experience of studying for an MA at Carlisle, I think its worthwhile to discuss just how an Arts Degree is perceived in the eyes of potential employers. Lets face it we all want jobs doing what we do well, love, enjoy, etc, etc...
In a time of transition from studying at an Institution with an internationally recognised reputation, to a much larger corporate animal with an image that is as yet uncharted and unquantified, the question is asked...Just what is the future value, currency and transportability of a tertiary qualification from a 'new' University?
Do employers ask the question "the University of where exactly?" And crucially does that affect potential employers decisions when choosing candidates?
The work may stand for itself on merit, but does the "where did you study?" still hold sway in the interview...
