I was raised in post-soviet Ukraine during the times of crisis, where for most people poverty was an everyday reality. Those experiences gave me a sense of practical duty, to pursue a business degree and a career in finance and economics. For several years I worked in interesting roles in Washington DC, and at the World Bank. Recently I found myself at a point in terms of my life and my relationships, that I could return to art as a full-time vocation.
