Ceri Hand: New Liverpool gallery

The Ceri Hand Gallery is positioning itself as Liverpool’s first international contemporary commercial art gallery, providing the opportunity to see and crucially buy, some of the most exciting work being produced internationally.

The gallery currently represents ten artists from the UK and plans to holdone exhibition per month, free to the public, including a mix of international and North West talent.

Based in a converted warehouse space in Cotton Street to the North of the city, the gallery boasts over 150 square meters of space.

The inaugural exhibition: These Living Walls of Jet features work by artists who weave contemporary and historical references – from the baroque to the renaissance - with folklore and the treacherous natural world, to reveal absurdity in our quest for stability and perfection and the fragility of sexuality, memory and subjectivity

Exhibiting artists:
Craig Atkinson, Henny Acloque, Eleanor Moreton, Rebecca Stevenson, Martyn Cross, Hayley Lock, Petros Chrisostomou, Samanatha Donnelly, Mimei Thompson, Persijn Broersen & Margit Lukács
