Live Drawers at ‘Windows 204’, Bristol

The space of ‘Windows 204’ at 204 Gloucester Rd, Bristol continues to inspire passes by.

On the 10th March 2007 from 9.30 am Andy Council and Tim Floyd drew on the windows, at times attracting quite a crowd of on lookers.?From young to old many were quite hypnotised watching the artists work.?They were doing a great job at promoting drawing and bringing art closer to a general public.

Often working together they draw directly onto the windows of public spaces, shop windows, pubs etc.?As much interested in the process of drawing, and people watching that process, as they are in the finished product.

Both accomplished artists and skilful drawers they produce fun and fascinating results.?Andy’s drawings always respond in some way to their location, a multitude of objects manifest into animals, sometimes monsters, sometimes domestic.?While at the moment?Tim’s drawings are investigating various relationships with plants, these often stem from personal experiences. ?he finished results have the effect of being both easy to access and challenging to think about.

The pictures they create will remain on the windows until the 8th April.
