Studio Voltaire is the first and only artist-led gallery and studio complex in South West London, offering a service for local residents, schools and community groups. Founded in 1994, Studio Voltaire actively promotes the production and presentation of contemporary art practice with Exhibition, Education and Studio Programmes, and associate membership scheme. It produces a limited edition portfolios, and showcases them at international art fairs. Studio Voltaire? key objective is ?o create a supportive and critical atmosphere to develop diverse artistic practices and help provide career opportunities? Applications for studios must be submitted by completing a Studio Voltaire application form with a current CV and up to 6 images of recent work. When a studio becomes available the studio committee will review the applicant list and offer a license and internal membership to an artist that the committee believes will best meet Studio Voltaire? artistic and charitable objectives.
