Permanent Gallery is an environment where artists experiment with new ideas and new ways of working. It is a not-for-profit space that opened in Brighton in May 2003. The gallery offers critical and practical support to produce, present and contextualise work. Central to this process is a dialogue between the gallery, the artists and the audience. The gallery houses a bookshop selling artist-made books, small press publications, zines and multiples.
