Art Off the Wall (promoted by Art on the River Exhibitions - www.artontheriver.co.uk) is an annual event in the splendiferous garden suite overlooking the lawns out to sea - where you can relax with morning coffee, light lunch or afternoon cream tea whilst delighting in the art work of some of Eastbourne's leading artists FOR ONE DAY ONLY. On show - paintings/mixed media of vibrant flower paintings including the latest in poppies and tonal canvasses of Pevensey Castle - by Mary Beaney, (founder and promoter). Jill Emslie's abstracts and abstractions of boats, land and sky scapes. Kate Sayer's large vibrant watercolours. Angela Perrin's unbelievable watercolours on canvas. Michele Findlay's sculptural ceramics/mixed media depicting the feminine body among other things. A vast variety of Julie Snowball's garden stoneware ceramics including birdbaths, raincatchers and decorative cornucopias to name just a few. The stunning wildlife photography, of Kenya, Alaska and Sussex, by Adam Beaney. So do come along - browse - enjoy - and possibly buy an original affordable work of art - off the wall.
