Inspired by Degas' "Little Fourteen Year Old Dancer ", JANICE RIDER examines her own evolving identity through a series of poignant , often humourous digital images which metaphorically encapsulate the anxiety and fear of the ageing process as well as the physical desire and longing for unattainable lost dreams of youth .
